Play an osu!-style rhythm game in your browser
Pulsefield is a free online rhythm game inspired by osu!standard. Aim at circles, follow sliders and spin to the music. Start with the included original demo beatmap, practise at your own pace, or challenge friends in a real-time room. No game installation or account is required.
Play solo Play with friendsHow to play
- Open Solo and choose a beatmap and difficulty.
- Move your cursor over each circle and press Z or X, or click, as the approach ring reaches its edge.
- Hold the key and follow the ball on sliders. For spinners, hold and move your cursor around the centre.
- Keep your combo going, then review your accuracy and timing on the results screen.
You can change your keys, adjust audio offset, calibrate timing and reduce animations in Settings. Press Escape to pause a solo game.
Import beatmaps and osu! skins
Drop an .osz archive into the library, import .osu files with their audio, or choose a beatmap folder. You can also import your osu! Songs folder. Pulsefield supports osu!standard maps; other osu! game modes are not currently supported.
Choose one of three built-in skins, or import an .osk skin archive or skin folder. Your imported files are stored in your browser. In multiplayer, the selected beatmap is shared with room members who need it.
Play online with friends
Choose a nickname, create a public or private room and share the invitation link or room code. The host picks a beatmap; players ready up for a synchronised start and a live scoreboard.
Classic rewards the best score. Teams combines individual scores. Survival makes every miss count until one player remains. Experimental Sabotage lets combo milestones briefly disrupt the leader with Hidden.
Practise your timing
Solo play includes Easy, Hard Rock, Hidden, Double Time, Half Time and No Fail mods. Watch a replay after a run, inspect your timing error distribution and adjust the difficulty or audio offset for your next attempt.
Pulsefield is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with osu! or ppy. The included demo music and beatmaps are created for this project.
